WordPress SEO - Simple Tips

This is an post I wrote on WordPress SEO and the simple steps to configure a site and optimise the content.

WordPress SEO is ok in its standard form, subject to tweaking a few settings, and then the key things a user needs to consider are basically the same as for any other site.

There has been talk about how search engines favour blogs over static sites but opinion now seems to be that this is not the case, WordPress SEO is therefore no easier than with any other type of site. Blogs do have the advantage that by their nature they tend to be updated more often and search engines like to see new content. However, Google have said that they prefer quality to quantity, so adding content just so that the blog is seen to have been updated is not worthwhile for WordPress SEO purposes.
